Tomix 98885 N 0-1000 Tokaido Sanyo SHINKANSEN Basic Set 8 Cars
The 0 series was the first commercial Shinkansen train to be introduced in 1964. The 1000 series was a group of trains with small windows covering only one seat instead of the large windows covering two seats up until that point, and was introduced to replace the existing trains that were mixed in with the original trains at the time of the opening of the line, although there were some trains that were entirely made up of 1000 series trains.

- Basic set compatible with both N formations with small windowed 1000 series cars, and NH formations mixed with large windowed cars
- 8-car set of cars 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 15, and 16 with each car number printed on it
- Headlights are illuminated with warm white LEDs, taillights with red LEDs
- Gray colored seats
- 37-1000 series seats reproduce passenger compartment seats and buffet counter and kitchen equipment
- Car number and formation number are selectable and a transfer sheet is included
- Uses power with flywheel
- Uses new current collection system and silver wheels
- Uses hook and U-shaped current-carrying couplers
- Uses M-13 motor
