The Koki 106 series is a container freight car that was introduced in 1997 to carry marine containers.
The body of the car was changed from sky blue to gray midway through production, and the cars that were sky blue were also changed to gray during inspection.
When the cars were repainted during inspection from around 2017, the JRF mark on the side of the car was removed, and from 2022, the no-running sign will also be removed.
