The Suha 43 series is a standard seating car manufactured for express trains in 1950. It was used in various configurations with other trains, from express trains to local trains, and was a popular old passenger car along with the Oha 35 series. It was originally painted in the standard brown color for old passenger cars (grape color No. 2), but was later changed to blue, mainly for cars that were modernized with fluorescent interior lights, etc.
