Herpa 538718 1/500 Tibet Airlines Airbus A319neo
This A319neo from Tibet Airlines adds something new to the 1/500 scale in two respects: this new release is the first model from the airline, which was founded in 2010, and is also the first A319neo from Herpa. The smallest member of the A320neo family allows operations from very high-altitude airports, such as those found in the Tibet region: all airports are located more than 3,500 meters above sea level. In addition to the nine A3190neo aircraft currently in service, with five more on order, Tibet Airlines also operates 27 A319-100s, six A320s, and five A330s, most of which are used within China. Long-haul connections to Finland and Russia were discontinued after a short time. This leaves connections to Kathmandu in Nepal and Thailandās vacation island of Koh Samui as the only international destinations.
